A Port Arthur police officer who worked security at Memorial High School has been assigned to station duty while an investigation takes place into his possible criminal behavior.
The officer, who has not been named, is being investigated for possibly having an improper relationship with a student at the school.
Chief Mark Blanton said the department was notified by the Port Arthur school district about the issue Monday afternoon.

station duty was a joke as he was still allowed to do what ever he wanted to do except work in the schools. cleared with a cover up and now on long vacation as more teenage girls have come in with same allegations, the big question is why is the DA office and his police agency just ignoring his actions, is there more going on in PAPD than they want the public to know? PLEASE somebody out there look into this allegation and police department
Well to no great surprise the police department got the big broom out again behind this officer and swept the problem away as he is back on duty with no charges or disciplinary action taken. I can't believe this, what does this officer have on his department, PLEASE somebody out there contact the justice department and have this entire police department looked into from top to bottom. I know some of the officers that work there and they are not all like this but live in fear of retaliation if they speak up. Look into how many officers of this department have filed law suits on this department for wrongfull termination or threats of termination for trying to speak out on the wrong doings in the police department. For a "small" department it sure has big town corruption in it. Even HPD don't put up with this crap from its officers.
I'd like to know how the school district has footage of one of the girls giving him oral sex ON CAMERA, and NOBODY kicks him out. He's been doing this since Thomas Jefferson High School was still its own school. We let a pedophile (YEAH WALKER I SAID IT, YOU'RE A PEDOPHILE!) Stick around this long.
