Former Fair Oaks Police Officer Robert Crews Sentenced To Prison for Stalking and Sending Explicit Images To Victim and Her Co-Workers

A Fair Oaks police officer was sentenced to federal prison in an internet stalking case.

Robert Crews, 41, has been sentenced to two years in prison. Crews will also be placed under supervised release for three years after completing his prison term.

On July 21, 2011, Crews pleaded guilty to internet stalking.

According to court records, Crews admitted to sending an email containing 15 sexually explicit images of his victim to her and 29 of her co-workers on July 27, 2010.

Crews said he wanted to cause the victim emotional harm, according to court records.
