Sgt. Marshall Allen Campbell |
As the holidays are approaching, many are getting stressed out and developing a short fuse. Like, for an example, a Sergeant with the San Antonio Police Department who was involved in a brawl involving a female on Wednesday morning.
After news of a warrant began to circulate, Sgt. Marshall Allen Campbell, 42, turned himself in at the Wilson County Sheriff's Office. He faces a charge of assault and bodily injury involving family violence, said Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy Johnie Deagen. Campbell has since been released on a $3,500 bail, officials confirmed.
Authorities say that when deputies arrived to the residence, the woman appeared to have bruises.
Campbell, a 20-year-veteran assigned to the night traffic investigation unit, was placed on administrative duty with pay during the investigation, an SAPD spokesman said.
