Investigation Continues for Houston Police Department Over Sgt. Ruben Trejo, Who Collided WIth School Bus While Driving Drunk

SGT. Ruben Trejo
We have an update to an earlier story, involving Houston Police Sgt. Ruben Trejo, who was charged with driving drunk following colliding with a school bus (while on his way to work). Houston police Chief Charles McClelland has confirmed he fired the patrol sergeant, but said the department's investigation of the incident is not over.

Union officials said they have been told that at least two HPD officers, including supervisors, are under investigation for unspecified misconduct on April 13, the day the officer crashed his personal vehicle into a bus in the 7900 block of Harrisburg while on his way to his job at the Eastside station.
Sgt. Ruben Trejo, 46, was fired by McClelland on August 19.  Trejo joined HPD in November 1985, and worked at the Eastside station since 1991.

The driver of the private school bus, who was ticketed in the wreck, told police Trejo smelled like alcohol, appeared to have been drinking and had open bottles of beer and wine in his vehicle. Trejo's late-model Toyota pickup was mangled in the collision, forcing responders to cut him from the vehicle.
According to witnesses, responding officers attempted to cover alcohol containers and threatened anyone who tried to take photos with arrest.

On April 25, two weeks after the wreck, prosecutors charged Trejo with DWI, alleging he had a blood-alcohol level of .205 - more than twicethe legal limit - when his blood was drawn at the hospital shortly after the collision. Trejo was wearing his HPD uniform when the incident occurred at 2:15 p.m., and he was on the way to begin his regular shift.

Houston Police Officer Matthew Calley Sentenced To Prison for Theft

Houston, Texas
An officer with the Houston Police Department has been sentenced to prison after he pleaded guilty to two theft charges back in March.

Matthew Calley, 46, was sentenced to 20 years in prison. Although he was charged with both misappropriation of funds and theft, the sentence will run concurrently, so he will only serve the 20 years.

Calley’s theft involved amounts of more than $200,000.

In fact, the Houston Police Officer stole more than $800,000 over a seven-year period from the Houston Police Officers Union, based on the charges filed against him.

Not A Texas Story, But Too Good To Pass Up

Albuquerque, New Mexico

If you are the New Mexico State Police Officer banging away in the photo above, you are not only without a job but also the subject of everyone’s laughter on YouTube.

Investigators in New Mexico say they have identified the State Police officer who was caught on camera having sex with a woman while in full police uniform.

According to the Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office, an investigation was launched after a surveillance camera captured footage of a State Police officer having sex with a woman on the hood of a car.

The camera had been set up to monitor the parking lot after several cases of vandalism had been reported in that location.

Apparently the officer forged ahead with the sex act in broad daylight, without even taking a moment to remove his utility belt.

And yes, that is someone's pet Chihuahua getting a first row view of the spectacle. Later in the video, the dog can be seen attempting to intervene in the affair.

The video was made public only after KOB Eyewitness News 4 in Albuquerque filed a public records request.

The officer has been fired from his job, but will not face any charges.

Texas Deputy Constable Charged with Kidnapping

Augustin Rubio
College Station, Texas

An off-duty Central Texas law officer has been accused of handcuffing and abducting a woman.

Brazos County Deputy Constable Augustin Rubio has been charged with kidnapping. Jail records Thursday did not list an attorney for Rubio, who held on $10,000 bond.

College Station police Officer Rhonda Seaton told The Associated Press that she doesn't know if the woman is a college student or knows Rubio, who was arrested Wednesday night. He's now on administrative leave.

Constable Donald Lamp says all of his deputies worked off-duty security jobs last weekend at fraternity and sorority parties.

Police say Rubio early Sunday approached the woman at an intersection, handcuffed her and put her in his patrol vehicle. The woman, who has not been charged, says she awoke hours later in a parking lot.

Texas Police Chiefs Accused of Racist & Homophobic Emails

"That stupid bitch got what she deserved"
It appears that the group Anonymous, after dropping off the radar for awhile, is back. And this time around, they are packing a powerful punch, leaking details of hacked emails. The latest punch is aimed at Texas law enforcement, leaking emails and internal documents that are disturbing.

Excerpts:

Exhibit A: An email from Robert Wieners Chief of Police, Friendswood, Texas Police Department. Subject line? "Stupid Bitch":

That stupid bitch who started that stolen car chase at Yale and 610 got what she deserved (I'll bet she was fat and black too). Same with that pervert that got shot by the county. Fuck that guy, see ya. That all sounds like good police work to me. Those folks got the criminal cure. It's guaranteed, they will never commit a crime again.

Subj: 1,400 years of inbreeding among Muslims

Read the article and make up your own mind. JHB
Hi everyone, this very interesting one came in tonight maybe it explains some of why the radical Muslims act so unreasonably brutal. Are the fact true? Don't know but if it is true that they have as a common practice of marrying first cousins, all kinds of problems can erupt. OK, I looked at all my "hoax sites" but couldn't find anything. But, just typing "1,400 years of inbreeding among Muslims" on Google results in a large number of articles discussing this topic.

I admit that I have not studied the Koran or Quroan or whatever it is, nor do I intend to !! I was subjected to enough of of their total nonsense as only a casual observer in their part of the world :( .... I only forward this for your reading pleasure and to add to our understanding of the Muslim world. Sharing my opinion that they need to stay in their own sandbox instead of trying to inflict their insane beliefs and religion upon civilized people. (Shucks, now they will call me an infidel)

Chiefs:

I conducted a preliminary inquiry into information received from Detective Price who received a call from Mr. Clements wanting us to know that one of our officers on midnight shift was having an affair with his wife. He also complained that the officer had run his criminal history. I asked KC to contact DPS to research their database to ascertain any person(s) that had ran his information to obtain information from any of the following: CCH, TDL, NCIC, TCIC, SETCIC, etc. The search revealed that the only person with the Friendswood Police Department that had run him was Elaine who had ran the information at KC’s direction at my request. This matter is mute until the time comes when he initiates the complaint process and provides us with the officer’s name.
